1. Defining
Choose an interesting and appropriate topic.
Develop good open ended questions.
Identify keywords and phrases.

2. Locating
Identifies sources of information in Library and Computer Lab.
Conduct a search for information related to the topic.
Record Bibliographic Information.

3. Selecting
Identify information needed within a resource.
Select information and take notes in your own words.

4. Organizing
Organize information and make an outline of your ideas.
Write a first draft.
Edit first draft.

5. Presenting
Write a final draft.
Create your final presentation.
(a traditional product, a web quest, multimedia project or presentation)

6.Assessing:
Complete a rubric (oral or written)
Present in front of peers for feedback
